About Long Ridge Union Cemetery

The Long Ridge Union Cemetery Association Board Of Directors is pleased to welcome you to the Long Ridge Union Cemetery. The cemetery is located on the East side of Erskine Road in Stamford, CT.

This website is intended to give you some background on the inception of a long and dedicated service to the community.

When John Todd gave the right to inter Ezra Neuman in the rear of his pasture in 1796, he probably had no idea that more than two hundred and fifteen years later that pasture would become one of the oldest of the area cemeteries in continuous use.

We are honored that our cemetery holds the remains of soldiers of the Revolution, War of 1812, Civil War, Spanish American War, World Wars One and Two, Korea, Vietnam, and other conflicts around the world.
